Sunny Taiwan

Lots of sun today in Nanwan. It’s been 3 days of sunny weather and I’m diggin it after that nasty cold spell we had. Hope it continues for the rest of the winter…

Waves came up this afternoon which was totally unexpected and not in the forecast. I have no idea how to track swell coming to South Taiwan, seems like it’s pretty random. At least in Hawaii you can see the swell coming a week out.

This photo was taken at Dawan. Sets kept pouring in but it was more like Sandy Beach shorebreak. The sand on the beach needs to be deposited in the line up. If I had a body board it would have been fun getting crushed on the shore. Up the road at Nanwan it was head high barrels.
